1-Will I have to deal with a local funeral home for cremation?   

No, Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium is a licensed                                                 
Funeral Home staffed with licensed Funeral directors 24 hrs. a day 7 days a week.                                                

2-What about legal papers needed for cremation?  

Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium will look after                           
Obtaining and issuing all legal documentation.


3-Do I need to purchase a casket or have embalming to be cremated?

No, Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium  supplies a cremation casket for
dignity and respect of your loved one.


4-What about an obituary for the local paper? 

We will look after the obituary for you or you may place it in the
Newspaper yourself. The choice is yours.


5-Must I pay now for a cremation service?

We offer pre-arrangements for you if you choose to make your arrangement
Now for services later on. Your money is deposited in a trust account with
Terms laid out by the department of Consumer Affairs, It is safe, insured and can be
Taken out or transferred by you at anytime. The interest it accumulates will off set any inflation charges..

6- Will there be any hidden cost in my pre-arrangement?

No, the price you pay today is the price for tomorrow. The only other charges not
Listed here would be opening and closing the graveside, flowers, honorariums for minister
And choir etc.

7- Will a Funeral Director be present at my service?

Yes all our Memorial Services, Graveside Services have a Funeral Director
In attendance. Or if you wish, you may do the service with the help of your
Clergy. The choice again is yours.

8- Is there any monies that my family may be entitled to after my death?

Yes, you may be in titled to a death benefit through Canada Pension Plan, Last Post Fund or many other organizations; please feel free to discuss this with you Funeral Director.


9-Do I have to choose an urn from Serenity?

No you can use your own urn, Have one made, it is up to you.
We place all cremated remains in a Urn (Wood) in a doubled bagged container.


10- Where Can my service be held?

It can be held at your local church, Hall, Community Hall or favorite site or place here in the valley,
there is not limit to where or when your service can be held. We will work with you to choose that special place.
